This Castle, which also contains some ruins from the Hellenistic and Roman periods and which was repaired by the Seljukians, is constitued by three lines of ramparts.

There are 83 towers and 160 small towers in the castle.

You can reach there by taxi or by public busses. The public busses leave from the city center where there is the Kuyularonu Mosque, near the Yapi Kredi Bank.

It is opened everyday between 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. and the entrance is due payment.
